Launching first for laptops and desktops.

A couple is sitting on a gray sofa in a living room with large windows, watching television. They are smiling and have four dogs lying and resting around them on the floor and sofa. The room is cozy and well-lit, with a wooden coffee table and a TV displaying a nature scene.

How BarkSkip Works (Phase 1)

1.

Install the Extension Add the BarkSkip Chrome Extension to your browser with one click. It runs silently in the background—no complicated setups or manuals required.

2.

Set Up Your Movie Night Open an ad-free Netflix movie directly on your laptop. Want it on the big screen? Connect your laptop to your TV using an HDMI cable or screen mirroring.

3.

Put Down the Remote Sit back and relax. As you watch, BarkSkip automatically fast-forwards dog triggers before your dog even notices.

Why I Built BarkSkip

BarkSkip was built out of desperation. My dog, Gus, is an active TV watcher. It’s fun having him watch with us, until it’s not. See, Gus is extremely reactive to so many things (animals, sounds, cinematography) that movie nights became exhausting hover-sessions over the remote. I couldn't find a tool to help us, so I built one. Now, I want to share the peace and quiet with other reactive, TV-watching dog owners.
